The Barden - Stapleton Project

Jake Barden and Louis Stapleton met each other in 2008 when playing together in Europe at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz a Vienne Festival, and venues in Paris, Berlin and Weimar. Jake and Louis recognized each other's strong passion for all forms of Jazz and developed a mutual respect and friendship.

Studying and playing jazz in different parts of the globe has meant musical distance- but Louis and Jake are "Crossing Paths" once again, exploring and experimenting with new and traditional forms.

On this album Louis and Jake are excited to be joined by great young Sydney musicians.
